Artistes who are climbing up the charts and fast

Chandelier
This track by Australian artiste Sia, is from her sixth album 1000 Forms of Fear and documents the thought process of a party girl. The melancholic lyrics are perfect to suit the light reggae beat of the song. Listen carefully for the subtle hints of pop, hip-hop and even electronica which is sometimes over shadowed by her powerful voice. It is no wonder the song jumped ten spots to number 17.

We Are One (Ola Ola)
Even the great Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez couldn’t team up with the beautiful Claudia Leitte to make a FIFA World Cup anthem that clicks. The upbeat song, with cliches of holding up flags and cheering your team, comes across as a lesser effort in comparison to Pitbull’s other tunes. Still enough to go nine spots up to 27 and get you swaying.

Wasted
Tiesto collaborates with Matthew Koma on this song that is a far cry from the DJ’s usual thumping tunes. This one is similar to Afrojack’s music with a catchy pop-inspired tune ideal to sing along to on a road trip. The song jumped seven places to 30.

Shower
Female rapper Becky G tones down the hip-hop and rap in her new release and brings in a pop tone to Shower. Not only do the lyrics get you singing along but the rap kept to a minimum and singing taking over will ensure you’re crooning in the shower soon. The song is up seven places to break into the premium top 10 at number 9.
