Kaya Skin Clinic’s new facials have natural extracts, an award and the latest technology going for them
In its bid to introduce advanced and effective therapy for your skin, Kaya Skin Clinic has just launched four internationally-acclaimed facials—the Derma-Regen 4 Layer Therapy, Intense White Dry Scrub, Antox-UltraSheen Therapy and Pure Pore Clear Skin. “We tested over 500 facials from around the world before zeroing in on these four. We also did a lot of research to see which ones suited Indian skin types and gave the best results,” says Dr Madhuri Agarwal, Kaya’s western region head of medical services, adding that while Derma-Regen is great for anti-ageing, Pure Pore is for acne prone skin, Intense White for dry skin with pigmentation and Antox-UltraSheen for those looking for that elusive glow.
Since Derma-Regen won the Cosmopolitan UK award for ‘best facial of the century’, I decide to give it a shot. The routine begins with the customary cleanse, followed by an almond-honey scrub, which the therapist tells me will hydrate my skin while exfoliating it. Then the award-winning layers go on, starting off with a seaweed filtrate (softens fine lines and rebalances skin), before moving on to a three-movement facial massage with a hydrating cream (improves skin elasticity), a seaweed mask (hydrates and improves skin tone) and, finally, a mineral mask, which generates heat to help the skin absorb the nutrients better. The result: my skin did look and feel plump and soft. But is it the best facial ever? Let’s just say it’s pretty close to a really great one.At Rs.4,500. Details: kayaclinic.com
