Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is sent to Earth,
to be saved from the destruction of his home planet, Krypton. Growing up in Smallville, Kansas, he lives a normal life as Clark Kent, the adopted son of Jonathan (Kevin Costner) and Martha (Diane Lane) Kent. When Kent discovers his extra terrestrial identity, his father advises him not to use his powers in public. Meanwhile, General Zod (Micheal Shannon), who has been looking for Kryptonian-inhabited planets, arrives on Earth and threatens it, forcing Kent to use his powers. Under the identity of Superman, he fights to save the world and the ones he loves. Ben Affleck turned down directing the film because he wasn’t experienced in visual effects shots.

A close-knit family, Henry Bennett (Ewan McGregor), his physician wife Maria (Naomi Watts) and their three sons—Lucas, Thomas and Simon—decide to spend their winter vacation in Khao Lak, Thailand. However, their tropical paradise turns into a nightmare when a terrifying roar rises from the depths of the sea and they are caught in the chaos and destruction of a tsunami. Things get traumatic as they get separated and a mix-up leads Lucas to believe that his mother is dead. Director Juan Antonio Bayona decided not to specify the nationalities of the main characters in order to create a universal film.

Babli (Ranbir Kapoor) is a charming car thief. Orphaned when he was a baby, he falls for a girl, Tara (Pallavi Sharda), but unknowingly steals her car and sells it to the mafia man Bheem Singh Chandel (Javed Jaffery). When Babli and Tara try to steal the car back, they end up being pursued by Chandel’s motley crew—besides Chulbul and Bulbul Chautala, two police inspectors. Babli now needs to get find money for the car, save the children of his orphanage (who have been kidnapped) and convince the Chautalas not to arrest him. This was the first time Kapoor acted with parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, since he joined the industry.
