The Invasion tells the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behaviour of human beings. After a Washington DC psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) discovers the reasons behind the epidemic, she fights to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping the escalating invasion. She and her co-researcher, Dr Stephen Galeano (Jeffery Wright), must find a way out.
This is the first English movie directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel.

Going undercover as offshore boat racers and outlaw smugglers, they take on the narco trafficking network of the mysterious Archangel de Jesus Montoya-Londono (Luis Tosar). Tom Cruise, Matthew McConaughey and Brad Pitt were considered for Sonnya��s role.

In return, Django wants Schultz to help him find his wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), who was sold by her owner for trying to escape. Schultz agrees to help him if he becomes his partner. On the way, they learn that they cana��t simply walk in and rescue her. How will they find a way? Jamie Foxx used his own horse, Cheetah, in the movie.
