Carl Denham (Jack Black) chooses the mysterious Skull Island to finish his movie; with Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) playing the role of the leading lady and Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) as the screenwriter. Things get out of hand when Ann is captured by the vicious natives on the island and offered as a sacrifice to the mighty beast beyond the wall. Akhil Lokande (Akshay Kumar) falls for Sakshi (Tamannah Bhatia) but her father refuses to give her hand in marriage to him unless he’s wealthy. Ironically, Akhil discovers his real father who lived in Bangkok is dead and his inheritance will go to anyone who can prove to be his heir, failing which everything will go to his father’s dog ‘Entertainment’. He sets off on a mission to kill the dog. Akshay Kumar was so impressed by the dog Junior ( who played Entertainment) in the film, that he ensured that the dog’s name appear before his in the opening credits.

The renowned detective Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr) and his long time trusted associate Doctor Watson (Jude Law) plan to take on the new criminal, Professor Moriarty (Jarred Harris), with the help of Holmes’ older brother Mycroft Holmes (Stephen Fry) and a gypsy named Simza (Noomi Rapace). But the evil Moriarty is always a step ahead of Holmes as he comes up with a plot that can destroy and change the course of history. Will the criminal mastermind succeed? Robert Downey Jr came up with the idea for the disguise as a cross-dresser, which was originally a priest.
