    District Attorney Mitch Brockden’s (Dominic Cooper) perfect life is shattered when he hits a man with his car and kills him. Instead of confessing, he tries to cover it up. Things get complicated when Clinton Davis (Samuel L Jackson) is caught with the dead man in his trunk, and Mitch frees him during trial. Cooper spoke to barristers to make sure he portrayed lawyers well.

    Raja Mishra (Saif Ali Khan) gatecrashes a wedding where he befriends the bride’s cousin, Rudra (Jimmy Shergill). When he overhears Lallan (Chunky Pandey) planning to kill everyone at the wedding, he saves them. Meanwhile, Rudra’s uncle offers them a place in his gang, but they refuse.  Instead, they go to jail to escape Lallan. When the uncle is killed, they get out of jail to take vengeance. However, Rudra gets killed. Will Raja be able to carry on alone? All the actors grew moustaches to look the part.

    This biographical film focusses on the life and time in office of President Abraham Lincoln. It zeroes in on the time when Civil War was ending in 1865 and there was a proposition to abolish slavery in America. It also deals with the President’s personal life. Director Steven Spielberg wanted details to be precise, so he borrowed Lincoln’s actual pocket watch from the Kentucky Historical Society. It is the watch the President carried on the day of his assassination.

    Benjy Taylor (D B Sweeny) is a rookie cop who goes undercover to nab a gang of car thieves supposedly led by playboy Ted Varrick (Charlie Sheen). But Taylor gets in too deep and starts to like the life he has with the gang and the thrill of being a car thief. He soon becomes Varrick’s right-hand man and falls in love with his sister, Ann (Lara Harris). But his  cover is threatened. Although he is uncredited in the film, this was Brad Pitt’s debut—in a blink-and-miss role of a waiter.
