SHIFTING their brunch format from their pool side live counters a�� chafing dishes format, The Park has now refocused their energies on their long-standing specialty restaurant, Italia, which had stepped out of the limelight in recent times.
Their new Sunday brunch is all about eating your way around Italy. Begin with a selection of artisan cheeses and cold cuts, with an assortment of lettuce on the side. A basket of breads sits invitingly on the table next to the olive oil and balsamic but we suggest you tread cautiously given that the menu is pretty extensive and hard to resist.
Antipasti includes tiny quail eggs, pickled slivers of fish, caramelised figs, artichokes, thin slices of carpaccio among a whole lot of mozarella and tomatoes and olives. We enjoyed a wonderful risotto with pumpkin, walnuts and truffle oil and Italiaa��s hunter style chicken a�� mildly-herbed, tender and juicy.
Dessert has enough options to keep the sweet toothed lot happy from the dark Ricotta and almond baked tart to the enticing dark chocolate parfait and the classic tiramisu.
