    Auroville Village Action Group (AVAG) is organising a women’s festival for the first time after seven years this Sunday at Auroville Village, Irumbai Main Road. Celebrating women divers around the world, they are holding an open water scuba diving workshop. Neela Bhaskar, the first PADI Sidemount instructor in the country, says they would be offering a 10 percent discount on open water and fun dives to all women tomorrow. “I recently have been certified as India’s first woman Tec Diver (scuba diving equipment configuration where diving cylinders are mounted alongside the dive and not strapped behind).
