But, this doesn’t last long as the experiments he’s subjected to go bad and transform him into a scientifically modified being with regenerative powers, and an unstable mind. Soon after, Wilson aka Deadpool vows to take revenge. Reynold’s costume and make-up, as shown in the film, took more than eight hours to complete

Private investigator Matthew Scudder (Neeson) isn’t the kind of person who considers peddlers as his clients. But when offered $20,000, he takes up the case of Kenny (Stevens), a drug trafficker whose wife was kidnapped and murdered. As Scudder delves into the case, he stumbles across several such cases with dismembered corpses and decaying body parts turning up in the oddest of places. Intrigued by the pattern, Scudder follows the leads one by one, only to find that the path he’s on is a long and winding one. The film marks the second appearance of Scudder as a character since his entry in 8 Million Ways to Die (1986).

Inspired by the book of the same title written by British author Nathaniel Philbrick, In the Heart of the Sea opens to the 1820 maritime mishap caused by a whale to a vessel named Essex. With the whale pursuing their trail with a human-like vengeance, Captain George Pollard (Walker) and his crew are struggling to stay above the water, with limited means. But for Owen Chase (Hemsworth), the first mate, finding and killing the mammoth animal seems to be the priority, even at the cost of his own life. As panic, starvation and storms test their resilience, will the crew be able to stick together? The real life incident involving Essex later fuelled Herman Melville’s imagination when he wrote Moby Dick.

Dr Mark Clyne (Dale), an expert in hyperspectral imaging, is sent by the US government to Europe to look into a video captured by a goggle he made. On it, a humanoid apparition is recorded, killing people in an instant. Suspected to be members of a Moldovan rebel group, the beings seem to be able to walk through walls and kill soldiers by just touching them. With help from a special ops team, Clyne discovers a strong enemy that is invisible and possibly an unstoppable ghost-like army. He is running out of time to solve the case as his team is under attack by the apparitions. Spectral is the directorial debut of Nic Mathieu.

Bahubali opens to the plight of Sivagami, the ruler of Mahishmati, being pursued by soldiers as she tries to save the baby in her arms. While she dies in the process, the child is saved by tribals of the region, and grows up to be a young warrior named Shiva (Prabhas). Shiva is soon lured away from his land by the image of Avantika (Tamannah), a fierce warrior who’s trying to save their queen Devasena (Shetty). As Shiva learns the sad story of Devasena’s 25-year-long imprisonment by Ballaladeva (Daggubati) from Avantika, he vows to help her. But he is chased by the King’s army while attempting to do so, leading to a fateful encounter with his destiny. The movie became the highest grossing Indian movie within the country.
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, Star Movies HD, 9 pm

Alvin (Long), Simon (Gubler) and Theodore (McCartney), the chipmunks, throw a birthday party for Dave (Lee) and make him agree to take them to mini-golf where they meet his girlfriend, Samantha. Though the chipmunks find her to be nice, her son, Miles, is abusive towards the trio. When the Chipmunks find an engagement ring in Dave’s bag, they believe he is going to propose to Samantha and dump them. In a plan to sabotage the proposal, they try to follow Dave and Samantha to Miami, where they believe the proposal will happen. Rhythm and Hues, who animated the chipmunks in previous releases, was replaced by Weta Digital in this movie as they filed for bankruptcy.
