Virat Bakshi (Kumar), a military officer, is on vacation when he witnesses a bomb go off. Upon investigation, he discovers that a terrorist group has planned serial blasts across Mumbai in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, his parents are trying to matchmake for him. Though he initially rejects the girl (Sinha), he later ends up falling in love with her. Kumar was injured several times during the shoot, and missed a severe foot injury caused while jumping down a flight of stairs.

When space shuttle Explorer receives news from Houston control that a Russian satellite has exploded and its debris is hurtling towards them, medical engineer Ryan Stone (Bullock) and astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney) abort their mission and attempt to get back into the shuttle. But they are too late and the debris hits the Explorer, destroying it and leaving them stranded. Adrift, their only hope for survival is to reach the International Space Station (ISS). The film is 90 minutes long, the same time the ISS takes to orbit the Earth.

In 2093, a group of explorers head to an alien universe aboard the ship, Prometheus, following a map that suggests that the forerunners of the human race came from a distant moon called the LV-223. Under the captaincy of Meredith Vickers (Charlize Theron), the crew arrives
at the place and come face-to-face with a giant monolith of a humanoid head. But they soon realise they are not alone. The opening sequence
was shot in Iceland and took two weeks to complete.

Heading a revolutionary women’s activist group, Gulaab Gang — they wear pink saris and carry weapons — Rajjo (Dixit) wants to eradicate social injustice against women. Going up against corrupt cops, husbands and politicians in the village of Madhopur, the group catches the eye of politician Sumitra Bagrecha (Chawla) who wants them to support her. But will Rajjo see through Sumitra’s ulterior motives? After decades in the industry, this is the first film that both stars agreed to work on together.

This rock musical set in the 1980s, is all about following dreams. Sherrie Christian (Hough) arrives in Hollywood from Tusla to become a rock star, as does Drew Boley (Boneta), who works at The Bourbon Club (where bands perform gigs). In a chance meeting, Boley helps Christian by convincing the club owner to hire her. Meanwhile, the mayor and his wife are keen on shutting them down as they feel rock is a bad influence on society. Finally, the club’s survival rests on eccentric rock star Stacie Jaxx’s (Cruise) performance. Cruise rehearsed for five hours every day to get his voice ready for his performances.

Feroz Khan (Denzongpa) heads a covert group of secret agents that was formed after the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Among them are Ajay Singh Rajput (Akshay Kumar) and Jai (Rana Daggubati) who manage to prevent a bomb blast in a Delhi mall. They later realise it is just the first of a series of similar attacks.Meanwhile, terror mastermind Maulana (Rasheed Naz) helps another terrorist Bilal (Kay Kay Menon) escape from prison. With dangers lurking everywhere, it’s up to Singh and his team to stop the terrorists through their covert operations. A sequel
to this movie has been scheduled for 2017.

Julian Assange (Cumberbatch) teams up with Daniel Domscheit-Berg (Bruhl) to create WikiLeaks, a website where whistle-blowers from across the world can safely upload secret information that would otherwise be hidden from the public eye. Starting with a Swiss bank called Julius Baer, a line of organisations involved in unscrupulous activities are exposed and WikiLeaks grows in strength. However, tensions soon arise between Assange and Domscheit-Berg. While the former is concerned about his sources’ protection, the latter is worried about the people who suffer through the exposes. James McAvoy was originally cast as Assange.

Bruce Banner (Eric Bana) is the son of a scientist with modified DNA, which he got thanks to a self-experiment aimed at creating soldiers with superhuman strength. Unaware that he has inherited the modified DNA from his father, Banner works as a geneticist at the Berkeley Biotechnology—working with gamma radiation to aid cell repair. When an accident occurs in the lab, Banner survives, but the gamma rays he is exposed to reacts with his DNA and turns him into the Hulk. Director Ang Lee performed the stunts (pictured on Hulk) himself, using motion capture technology.

Dusty Crophopper (Cook) is a plane with a successful career as a racer. But his life comes to a halt when he learns that his engine is damaged. To make things worse, the gearbox he needs is not available anywhere. No longer able to race, Crophopper shifts gears and joins a team of firefighting aircrafts at the Piston Peak National Park, lead by veteran fire and rescue helicopter Blade Ranger (Harris). When a massive wildfire puts the park in danger, Crophopper and his team struggle to save the forest. The blue mustang named Mustangburger is the only character to appear in both the Cars and Planes films.
