Following events of X-Men: The Last Stand, the movie sees a Wolverine (Jackman) who is stripped of his healing powers. Still reeling from the death of Jean Grey (Janssen), Wolverine, aka Logan, is living a reclusive life, only to be thrust back into danger after he attacks a group of men trying to harm a girl. She turns out to be none other than Mariko, the granddaughter of Yashida, a man whom Logan saved during the 1945 atomic bombing of Nagasaki. This is the first X-Men film featuring the Wolverine that does not have the letter X in its title.

Sean (Guzman) and his dance crew, the Mob, try their best to make an impression in various auditions in Las Vegas, but fail. They are challenged by another group called the Grim Knights, who defeat them, too. Frustrated, the crew leave Los Angeles, though Sean stays back. Later, he learns of another competition and, with the help of fellow dancer Moose (Adam Sevani), forms a new crew and registers to compete. Little does he know that he will be facing his old team as well as the Grim Knights there. This is the fifth and final installment in the Step Up franchise.

Justin Miller (Wayans Jr) and Ryan O’Malley (Jake Johnson) are longtime friends from Ohio who move to Los Angeles to make a living. While the former is an unsuccessful video-game designer, the latter is unemployed. So it’s natural for them to get excited when they are mistaken for real cops at a costume party. With the new-found fame threatening to blow out of proportion, they must make a choice. Especially when they get entangled in a mess involving real criminals. Both the lead actors are real-life standup comedians.

With the Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continuing to transform Earth into the land of the undead, their last hope, Alice (Jovovich), seems to be the only one with a plan. But she faces her biggest test yet when she ends up inside the corporation’s underwater facility after an attack by a mind-controlled army of tiltrotors. She tries to flee and, on the way, she meets Ada Wong, who assures her that a team has been sent by Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) to help her escape the clutches of the Red Queen, who now controls the Umbrella. It won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects.

Akshay Kumar plays a fake CBI officer, Ajay, who along with partners, PK Sharma (Anupam Kher), Joginder (Rajesh Sharma) and Iqbal (Kishor Kadam), carry out fake raids in the houses of powerful politicians and businessmen, and carry away their black money. Following a successful raid on a traders’ business in Kolkata, Ajay decides to conduct one final raid in a jewellery store in Mumbai. Will the real CBI catch up with them? The film is inspired by the real life incident of the 1987 Opera House heist in Mumbai.

But to get inside the hotel, the team needs to win a dance competition first. Sonu Sood’s role—of a former Army bomb squad captain—was first offered to Rana Daggubati and Vidyut Jamwal.
