Raghav (Dhawan) is on a mission of revenge against the two people who killed his wife and son during a bank robbery gone wrong. While one of the suspects escapes with the money, the other, Liak Tungrekar (Siddiqui), is sent to prison for 20 years. Fifteen years later, Tungrekar finds out that he has cancer and, hoping to be released on compassionate grounds, reaches out to Raghav. But he demands to know the name of his partner in crime. Will Tungrekar oblige? The movie is inspired by the Italian novel, Death’s Dark Abyss, by Massimi Carlotto.

A sequel to The Haunting in Connecticut, the movie is set in 1993, when the Wyrick family moves to a new house in Pine Mountain, Georgia. While Andy (Murray) is a ranger, his wife Lisa (Spencer) is a medium who takes pills to avoid seeing dead people — an ability that her daughter, Heidi, has also inherited. Meanwhile, Heidi befriends Gordy, who turns out to be none other than the house’s original owner, who had died in the 70s. What other eerie truths will the Wyrick family discover? The movie is based on a true story.

Ryan Bingham (Clooney) fires people for a living. He works for a corporate downsizing firm that allows him to travel around the world, and do the tough job of telling employees that they have been fired. A sworn bachelor, for Bingham, his life is paradise as he is able to do the thing he loves the most—fly. However, when his company insists that Natalie Keener (Kendrick) accompany him on his trips, Bingham finds his space compromised. Natalie’s proposal of firing people through video conferencing ends up changing everything. Ellen Page and Emily Blunt were initially considered to play Keener’s role.

Can Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) of the FBI and his Interpol partner, Alam Dray, find out how they managed to do it? This is the fourth film with both Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine, after the Dark Knight trilogy.

The crew then tries to kill him for his share of money. Based on a fictional character from the Parker novel series, the film is the first one made after the death of the author, Donald E Westlake.

This was Aditya Chopra’s first directorial venture in eight years, after Mohabbatein.
