Their mutual interest for reading, leads to Hazel lending An Imperial Affliction, to Augustus, a book about a girl named Anna, who lives with leukemia. Augustus is upset as the book ends abruptly and learns that the author Peter Houten (Dafoe) had moved to Amsterdam. Augustus surprises Hazel with tickets to Amsterdam. Selected for the nationals, Naman and his team head to Kolkata where he meets Naina, a participant from Chennai, who is the perfect match for his intellect. But the boys have more than just the quiz competition on their minds. Brahman Naman closely follows the stream of American teen sex comedies set in the 80s.

Tammy Banks (McCarthy), a tardy fast food employee, is fired from her job. Returning home, she finds her husband sharing a romantic meal with a neighbour. Depressed, she tries to take off in her grandmother Pearla��s (Sarandon) car, but ends up taking her along after learning that Pearl has cash on her. The duo head to Niagara Fallsa��one of Pearla��s childhood wishes. En route, they meet father and son, Earl Tillman and Bobby. While Earl falls for Pearl, Bobby is smitten with Tammy. But their romance is short lived as the next day Tammy has to find a way to bail her grandmother out of jail. Though playing grandmother-granddaughter, McCarthy and Sarandon only have a 24-year age difference.

Tracy Fishko (Kirke) has a hard time fitting in at her college. After being rejected by her crush, Tracya��s mother suggests she befriend her soon-to-be step sister Brooke (Gerwig). Spending a night with her, Tracy develops a bond with Brooke, who reveals that she is opening a restaurant named Moma��sa��to honour her deceased mother. But the restaurant, financed by Brookea��s boyfriend, goes under, after he breaks things off with her. With mounting debt, the girls try to rope in a friend, while Tracy and Brookea��s parentsa�� wedding hit a rough patch. Gerwig, also the co-writer of the movie, graduated from Barnard College, the same college Tracy attends in the movie.

However, Aryan is not impressed by the act and Chadana is eventually arrested and imprisoned. Beaten up in prison and snubbed by the actor whom he had held dear all his life, he now wants revenge. Greg Cannom, the makeup artist who worked in Pirates of the Caribbean and Titanic, helped transform
Khan into a 20-year-old.

Raftaar Singh (Kumar) is a free-spirited young man. Worried about his careless ways, his father sends him to Goa, to work with his friend Kripal Singh. Meanwhile, Sara Rana (Jackson) arrives in Goa from Romania after fleeing from a mob boss, Mark, who wants to marry her. Raftaar, who is put in charge of protecting Sara, struggles to communicate with her as he cannot speak English. Mark and his men close in on Sara and try to abduct her. Though he saves her, Raftaar soon finds out that there is more to Sara than what meets the eye. Scenes that showed the kada being used as a weapon and the burning of a turban was objected to by the Sikh community, and were removed.
