and Theodora. Robert Downey Jr and Johnny Depp were initially approached
for the role of Oz.
The Siege of Jadotville (Drama/ Thriller)

Set in the 60s, the State of Katanga is fuming with anti-UN feelings following an ugly spat between the two. Meanwhile, isolated within the conflict is commander Pat Quinlan (Dornan) and his 155 Irish UN troops. Based in the mining town of Jadotville, the battalion was sent to protect its Belgian settlers and local population. However, the very people they were to protect turn hostile after the altercation between the state and the United Nations. Faced with combined attacks of over 3,000 Congolese troops led by French and Belgian mercenaries, Quinlan and his crew have to now fight for their survival. Inspired by real incidents, the movie’s cast also includes Conor Quinlan, the real-life grandson of
commander Pat Quinlan.

His doubts are realised when he finds several correspondences between her and Vikram Makhija (Bajwa), one of his close friends. Blinded by rage, Pavri seeks no explanation from his wife before he sets out to confront her ‘lover’. When Makhija turns up shot dead, Rustom becomes the prime suspect. The film is inspired by the infamous
Nanavati case (1959).

Mark Watney (Damon) is one among the space explorers aboard the Ares III, who have embarked on a manned mission to explore the Martian plain. But an unexpected dust storm topples their Mars Ascent Vehicle, forcing the crew to abort the mission and evacuate. Watney, however, gets buried under debris and misses the departure signal. He wakes up to find himself abandoned on the planet with his bio-monitor indicating low oxygen supply. Wounded, with a damaged body suit, he has to survive in hostile weather conditions,
with fast-depleting resources.
The name of Watney’s mission,
Ares III, is derived from the Greek word Ares, meaning Mars,
the god of war.
