    The Duff (Comedy/ Romance), Romedy Now, 12.55 pm

    A senior high school student growing up in the US, Bianca (Whitman) is leading a considerably happy life. Though her best friends Jess and Casey appear to be more popular than her, this doesn’t bother Bianca. However, when she finds herself attracted to Toby, a cute guitarist at school, she ends up attending a party in an attempt to spend time with him. But when Bianca is suddenly revealed as the DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) by Wesley (Amell), her former friend and nextdoor neighbour, she is devastated. Duff is inspired by Kody Keplinger’s book of
    the same name.

    Karan (Bhanushali), a young musician living in Mumbai, comes across Meera (Leone) by chance during a fashion show. Though Meera is initially reluctant to shoot with them in India, once she makes her way to the country, everything falls in place. Except for Karan, who’s haunted by a series of mysterious dreams. As he visits a pandit to find the reason behind the same, he is taken back to a story, which took place 300 years ago, and might be connected to the present. Ek Paheli Leela also sees Leone’s partner Daniel Weber in a cameo role.

    Lakshya (Kohli) and his four best friends are having the time of their lives while studying in a campus in Sikkim. But when they realise that their campus will be transformed into a casino soon, the team decides to put up a fair fight to save it.

    However, the five round challenge proposed by the Australian who was planning to take over the campus, is a lot tougher than what they had expected. With hurdles ahead of them ranging from emotional betrayal to self-doubt, the quintet must find a way to overcome their shortcomings.

    Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, Yaariyan is one of the first movies to be completely filmed in Sikkim.

    Marking the entry of acclaimed rapper Yo Yo Singh into the big screen, Zorawar is set in Punjab.

    A government security agent by profession, Zorawar Singh (Singh) is the pride of his department. While he seems happy and successful at work, things aren’t going well in his personal life. Having mysteriously lost touch with his dad Mukul Dev (Sangram Singh) several years back, Singh has a single mission in his mind now — to find his missing father and bring him home. Will he succeed?

    Directed by Vinnil Markan, Zorawar was showcased at the Melbourne IFFM Festival 2015.

    Set in 1975, Black Mass sees James “Whitey” Bulger (Depp) as the Set in 1975, Black Mass sees James “Whitey” Bulger (Depp) as the undeclared don with control of almost every activity happening South of Boston.

    But when rival gang Angiulo Brothers push hard against him and his allies, Whitey finds himself in a compromised position.Concerns over the safety of his wife Lindsey (Johnson) and their son Douglas, who suffers from Reye’s Syndrome, make the situation even more dangerous, with Whitey being forced to work for the FBI. However, making Whitney worry further is William Michael “Billy” Bulger (Cumberbatch), his brother and the Massachusetts Senate President. Guy Pearce was initially considered for the role of James “Whitey” Bulger.

    Followed by a series of fun adventures gone wrong, Babai (Bose), Pele (Bhattacharya), Ria and Payal (Biswas) end up in a locked-up shopping mall. When an elderly couple appears out of nowhere, offering a game to pass time, the teenagers accept immediately, unaware of the dreadful fate that awaits them.

    Comprising of a leather board and a bottle containing two dices made of bone, the game titled Ludo is slowly altering the lives of the players, as they roll the dice. But it is too late to back out once they realise that the board is a live one. Ludo is put together by the team who brought out Gandu and Tasher Desh.
