Hi-tech barbecue grills and wine conditioners from Miele, to get the party started
With winter almost upon us and the festive season approaching, the German luxury domestic appliances maker, Miele’s new range of appliances takes care of it all—from your delicate party wear, vintage wines to even a barbecue dinner plan. Take, for instance, the Wine Conditioners (Rs.7, 49,990) equipped with special compressors that prevent any vibrations while cooling and doors that have special UV-protected glass. ‘‘With temperature zoning systems, wines requiring different temperatures for their care will be safe in it. The racks are also made of special wood that does not transfer its temperature on to the wine,’’ says Rana Pratap Singh, managing director, Miele India. A breakfast bonus, their built-in coffee machine (Rs.2,79,990 – Rs.4,29,990) with an M Touch panel allows you to choose your coffee just by swiping, scrolling and tapping the screen. Meanwhile their barbecue grills (Rs.1,39,990) comes with a lava rock that ensures intensive aroma and retains heat, while their Gourmet Warmer Drawer (Rs.1,19,990–Rs.1,49,990) is great if your guests decide to chase the dawn and the dinner needs to wait. The brand that entered India in 2009, recently launched the Fashion Master (Rs.2,59,980), a boon for designer garments, as the active ironing board with features like roller wheels, glides over pleats and sequinned embellishments impeccably. Singh promises that their appliances can last up to 20 years and more. Already present in metro like Delhi and Mumbai, the brand plans to soon stock in tier two cities like Jaipur, Raipur and Chandigarh.
