Eventaur will soon make organising events a breeze

THERE is no dearth of event planners on the World Wide Web. Early this year, we saw the launch of a wedding-planner app WedMeGood. Weddingz.in is another player in the space. Evibe and BookEventz are other one-stop platforms for event planning requirements.
And now Eventaur is ready with a tool, called Event Planner, which will make organising events a breeze. It intuitively, or intelligently to be specific (thanks to an extensive algorithm), works out a bouquet of vendors that will work best for you. Thatas because itas still a task to choose the best combination of decorators, caterers, logistics partners, and other vendors, all the while fitting in your budget. The Bengaluru-based startup has been working on it for two years.
Anirudh Poddar, founder of Eventaur, explains how it works: a?Register on the website. Enter the occasion (birthday, wedding ceremony, corporate outing, etc.), date and time, choice of venue, number of attendees, location, and budget, and run the a?I know my budgeta search. The app will throw up four or five combinations of vendors that are required to plan the event. Each combination will also give a break-down of budget. We also give you the option to customise under each combination. Or, you can just choose from three pre-defined budget brackets.a?
Since Eventaur is in the business of planning events, you can leverage services from its list of 2,000-odd vendors, across 24 categories of functions. They will add wedding choregraphers soon.
The soon-to-be-launched tool also targets professional event planners, who can find vendors for a?big eventsa?.
