    Show some love
It will be one thing to buy this book, and quite another to get one signed by Rowling herself. Hachette India, which is officially releasing the edition in the country, is giving away copies of the book with Rowling’s autograph. Go on their website, and tell them how much the franchise means to you, and you could be one of the lucky few winning an autographed copy. On till August 5. Details: hachetteindia.com

    Did you know?
Landmark will offer a `100-voucher if you crack their ‘Potter Quiz’. It includes seven levels of questions on Harry Potter, with each level having 10 questions. Each correct answer will get you 10 points. Collect 100 points and you get the voucher. But it’s easier said than done, because you get only five seconds to answer each question. Meanwhile, you can pre-order your copy by registering on their website. If you receive a special invite from the bookstore chain, you might also get to take an exclusive sling bag home. Till July 31. Story time
Theatre actor and storyteller Deesh Mariwala, who’s popularly referred to as Wordman, will hold a ‘request reading’ session, called Pottermania. That means, you can bring the copy of your favourite Harry Potter novel and have him read out as well as perform your most-cherished excerpts from it. And if you happen to catch hold of The Cursed Child early in the day, yes, you can have that acted out as well. July 31. At Atta Galatta. 6.30 pm. Details: facebook.com/events/1724781324443225/
