The Auroville Earth Institute is organising a five-day workshop on arches, vaults and domes. Participants will learn about low-cost, low-carbon possibilities of masonry flooring and roofing. It will also include research on construction techniques with the aim to integrate 21st century technologies with age-old building methods, such as those developed in ancient Egypt or medieval Europe. Walk the talk
DakshinaChitra is celebrating World Environment Day with a nature walk and tree identification sessions by in-house reptile expert, Sharath Nambiar.
