With the show’s finale just a week away, what is happening?
There’s nervousness on the sets, but that is a given, isn’t it? The format for this year’s show is very encouraging. Girls are made to do tasks as if they are on real jobs. Those who do the best are selected to be in the finals. For example, they were asked to audition for an assignment for PETA and pose for a GQ photo shoot.
Do you miss your co-host Siddharth Mallya?
Yes, I do. It was a lot of fun with him around.
What is the criteria to be the supermodel?
The judges are also looking at whether they know their camera angles, if they’ve done research on the campaign they will be working on, etc.
Any promising names?
Everyone‘s doing their best. But of all the girls, Pradeep Bassi, Ketholeno (Kense) and Aastha Ssidana have it in them to make it big.
Word of advice for aspiring models?
You obviously need a great body and the right facial structure to be a model. That apart, it is a profession, so you shouldn’t take things too personally.
The show is aired every Saturday and Sunday on NDTV Good Times at 10 pm.
