The Neemrana group brings its debut fabric and home décor collection to the city.
THis festive season, add a dash of regal to your wardrobe and home interiors with the Neemrana hospitality brand’s first line of clothing and home linen. Designed by Aude Priya Wacziarg, daughter of Francis Wacziarg, one of the founders of the hotel chain, and Santhya Malik, who helms the Neemrana Shop in Khan Market, New Delhi, the collection comprises of two lines: Architectural Muse and Styled from Stone. The former—inspired by the geometry of the architectural structures and curvatures of Delhi’s Neemrana Fort— offers minimal linen and cotton kurtas, tops, palazzos and more, with traditional embroidery, hand-block prints and pin tucks. The latter, their festive collection, takes a leaf out of 15th century’s fashion books with kurtas and lehengas in flowing georgettes and chanderis, with gold embellishments. Expect simple cuts, with a focus on motifs.
For those looking to bring the Neemrana aesthetic home, try their two home linen options. Sleeping Palaces transfers the fort’s grandeur on to superior cotton bed linen, with a floral palette and geometric designs complete with jaali mosaics. Dine Define, designed with Indu Kapahi, artist-founder of Inka Homecrafts, a Delhi-based textile design studio, has screen-printed table linen in bright, earthy colours. “My father co-founded the Neemrana Group because of a love we all share for India, its culture and heritage. This collection came about on the same ground. It’s a tribute to his philosophy,” says Delhi-based Aude, who has her roots in France.
