Inside Access with Malini gives you a candid peek into lives of celebrities
Spicy gossip, unheard tales, scandalous secrets and intimate details — the perfect elements of a behind the scenes reality TV show. But Malini Agarwal aka Miss Malini asserts her new show is different. Vh1 Inside Access with Malini marks the radio jockey-blogger’s small screen debut. Though celebs are now accessible on social media, she tells us her show will have a twist with fun activities and will be spiced up before presenting it to fans and viewers alike.“We will be showing the lives of celebrities in a different light. I follow them everywhere. Whether it’s jogging with them at 6 am or attending parties, it’s totally uncensored content,” says the 39-year-old.
Miss Malini’s blog, vlog and Instagram video series are a testimony of her knack to bring out the intimate details of celebrities across industries. Likewise, her line-up for the new show is impressive enough. From the British band The Vamps, Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin, Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sonam Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, fashion designer Masaba Gupta to American hotelier Vikram Chatwal and NBA’s retired basketball player Shawn Marion, more and more celebrities will be spilling the beans on camera. “There will be a lot of surprises on the show. One such fun happening is how designers Shantanu and Nikhil designed an outfit for Shawn Marion for the GQ Fashion Awards Night, I get the scoop about how challenging it was to design an outfit for such a tall man,” says the Mumbai-based blogger.

Apart from the backstage fun, parties and events, the anchor will also explore homes and workplaces of celebrities. Kangana Ranaut is one among those who are sharing little known facts about their personal spaces. “Not many people know that Kangana likes to decorate her house with tiny details. We feature her as our house proud celeb and go shopping with her to buy stuff for her home,” says Agarwal. Meanwhile, a live wire celeb like Ranvir Singh, who was a copywriter before he became an actor, has been asked to pen lines for posters of his earlier films like Ram Leela. “People think celebrity parties are only about the booze and drugs, there’s a lot more to their lives, I get inside access to bring out all the buzz,” she says.
Though there is enough material to entice viewers, Agarwal is prefacing the show with a 20-minute FB live session from Mumbai. “This is something we will be doing before every episode. Along with my team, I shall give a heads-up to my followers on what to expect,” she says.
