UKas PremierAStage Productions recreates the entertaining land of Noddy for kids and fans
Following their successful performance at New Delhi last year, Fever Entertainment brings Noddy In Toyland to Bangalore this weekend. Noddy, the much loved Enid Blyton character will have the audience rapt with spectacular music, sets and a good dose of audience interactivity. Produced by Premier Stage Productions, UK, the show promises to enthrall both kids and adults alike. The one-and-half-hour show, aims to recreate Toyland within the theatre through fast-paced song and dance, colour and lots of laughs.
Song and dance
To be staged in English, the live production features seven cast members. When the two naughty goblins, Sly and Gobbo, plan to spoil the sing and dance-a-long party organised by Noddy and his friends, Tessie Bear, Big Ears, Mr. Plod, Whiz, Bumpy Dog and Mr. Beetle, he must think of a plan to ensure the party goes ahead as planned and everyone enjoys themselves. The enthusiasm and high energy levels of the cast members coupled with costumes identical to the television characters and appropriate lighting will bring alive the 64-year old series, making for an enchanting evening for all.
An interactive show
a?We use the UKas top manufacturer of character costumes and work closely with them at every stage. The lighting also adds an enormous amount to the atmosphere of a production, whether it be a spooky scene or a bright and fun dance on stage,a? says Nick George, director of Premier Stage Produc-tions. a?We are very excited about presenting in India. We have a lot of audience participation planned and have created a show that everyone can enjoy,a? he adds.
