TheA� renowned colour specialist and hair stylist will be conducting a workshop on September 19 in the city. Here for the branda��s launch of their hair colour product, So Pure, Kocks informs us that, a�?(at the workshop) I will focus on colour theory and colour application. I will also talk about new trends and some tips on evening styling, cuts and coloursa�?.
The 32-year-old says that the top trends in haircuts for this season include face-hugging cuts like the medium bob and casual, playful and loose cuts like the shlob, and a lot of free-hand work. When it comes to colouring, Kocks explains that cooler tones like grey, ash and blonde are in and, as 2017 sets in, the tones will turn warmer. a�?We will see a transit to more violet tones,a�? she says.
Kocks also observes, a�?In my country, there are a lot of pixie cuts and short haircuts. In India, people want long hair. The market also focusses on hair challenges like dryness and hair fall.a�? The stylist, who is in Chennai for the first time, gives us some easy tricks of the trade to manage hair in our humid weather. a�?To beat the humidity, I always advise people to use serum that will keep their haira��s moisture intact and protect it from outer moisture. The second thing is leave-in conditioner (helps in detangling hair), especially for long hair, to make sure that it wona��t go crazy,a�? concludes Kocks.
