    Fatty Bao brings in its second birthday with a culinary tour of Asia

    FATTY Bao turns two and they have decided that the celebrations will take us all on a gastronomic journey through 10 East and Southeast countries. Ringing in the birthday with Fattya��s Travel Tales, till August 28, this culinary journey may just land you some actual travel deals too. A travel contest will see diners stand a chance to win return tickets to Singapore, courtesy TigerAir.
    Whether you get lucky with the draw or not, you can stuff yourself on dishes from Fattya��s special birthday menu. Start with the Kimchi Fries, a Korean inspired rendition or the Lo Bak Go, popular street food from Hong Kong. These crisp, little roundels, are stuffed with radish, mushrooms, steamed and then pan fried and served with Sriracha and garlic sauce to amp things up. Team your starters with Master Po a�� Vodka, Whisky, Lapsang Souchang Tea-infused vodka and Pineapple juice.
    Stop by at Cambodia, where you can dig into a bowl of Chilli Eggplant and Tofu tossed up with chilli peppers, tomatoes, sambal and scallion. A dish that can convert the eggplant hater, if not the Tofu one. If Bengalurua��s weather stays true to what it is famous for, you will want to nurse a Singaporean specialty, the Cheung Fung. Rolls of rice dumplings dunked in a bowl of steaming coconut heavy yellow curry, topped with scallions.
    The Tiger Sushi Roll, with spicy salmon, Tamaki, cucumber and delicate orange gel wrap is the one that warrants repeats, sans the comical looking Tiger head.
    The by-now famous Raindrop Cake has made its way to Fatty and you have this in the dessert section with a miso soil, soy caramel sauce and fruit confetti. The dessert to indulge in is the Sakura Winter comprising a dome filled with vanilla, cherries, citrus and yogurt.
