Taking it easy
We experienced the indulgent Aroma experience which features an hour of massage and 30 minutes of a scrub. After a gentle scrub with hydrating sea salt rose crystal body scrub, we were set for sheer pampering by the friendly and skilled masseuse. With a mild bitter orange and bergamot oil, she gently undid the knots in the stressed areas like the back and neck, while relaxing the entire body. Aided by the calming aroma and relieving properties of both the orange and bergamot, she’ll work her magic on you, leaving you relaxed and rejuvenated.
Feeling rather indulgent, we also tried out the Classic Balinese massage. Nagu, the masseuse was gentle yet strong, leaving no tissue untouched. Using Mysore sandal oil, after a dry massage session, this is deeply relaxing and balances the body. And while the 60 minutes flew by, it was certainly a powerful treatment, working muscles we didn’t know even ached.
Feeling slightly tender, ten minutes in the steam was a soothing follow-up while a dip in the Jacuzzi ensured we were totally relaxed and detoxed.
