The Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation at the Goethe-Institut Chennai/Max Mueller Bhavan is hosting screenings of Anne Zohra Berrached’s 24 Weeks (24 Wochen) today, and Fatih Akin’s haunting drama, The Cut, on the Armenian genocide, tomorrow. Goethe-Institut Auditorium.

Sacred Indian tunes
Prakriti Foundation is organising the Festival of Sacred Music, which aims to introduce people to various forms of sacred music and promote local artisans. Tune into Hindustani Classical Vocal and English Bandish compositions by Kiran Pathak and a Carnatic concert in whistle by K Sivaprasad on February 17, fusion music by Karthick Iyer on February 18, and a Chitraveena recital by N Ravikiran.
